The Dokimeion Calacatta Marble Vessel Sink

Carved from a single piece of white Calacatta marble — one of the most coveted stones in the world, recognized by its warm white ground and dramatic grey veining. No two blocks are identical. The sink you receive will look like the photography, but it will also look like nothing else on earth.

We carve the Dokimeion by hand in our workshop in İscehisar, Afyonkarahisar — Turkey's historic marble region, where master carvers have worked the local stone for generations. The interior bowl is shaped by hand, then smoothed to a surface that invites touch.

Care Instructions

Clean with a soft cloth and a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid vinegar, citrus, and other acidic cleaners, which can etch natural stone. We recommend periodic sealing to help protect against staining, especially in daily-use bathrooms.

Our Process

Every piece is hand-carved to order in our workshop in Turkey. After your order, we confirm the details with you before production begins, and we're happy to send progress photos on request. Please allow 4–6 weeks from order for delivery, including hand-crafting, careful packaging, and shipping.
